GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GETTING WORK DONE IN OUR WORKSHOP
Please ensure your bike is clean before you bring it in to us, it does help our mechanics and there is a surcharge £10 for dirty bikes. This is for the extra time it takes to work on the bike. This surcharge does not include cleaning. If your bike is to dirty we have to turn it away as it will be impossible to work on.
Any bike or part there of left with us for over a month will incur a weekly storage charge of £5 a week. Any bike left with us for three months or over will be classed as abandoned and sold on.
Over the years bikes have changed dramatical. In so the older standard are fazed out of the manufacturing parts catalogue. Even a bike of around 10year old can some times prove problematic to get direct replacements parts. Even the smallest repair can be next to impossible on these old bike. But don't worry if you want to keep your old steed running as often many but for the very oldest bike can be modernised with a complete update of the drive train. Be warned though that parts alone for this sort of work can some times cost a significant amount.
All bike must be booked in for work. This applies for everything from a free service on a new bike to a complete bike rebuild. We are so busy this is the only way we operate.
